"Heads up: this site is frustrating to use"
Just a warning for anyone thinking of ordering here, I tried looking for a light and the whole site was a hassle. The filters kept resetting, pages were loading really slowly, and by the time I got to checkout it was confusing enough that I just gave up. Not worth the stress, in my experience.

"Showed in Stock, Then Wasn’t Available!!"
I ordered this because it showed as in stock at the time, but later I was told it actually wasn’t available. Really frustrating and a waste of time!!

"Not really up to what I was looking for"
I’m particular about having a decent range to choose from, and this just didn’t really meet my standard. There wasn’t much variety, and I barely found anything I actually wanted.

The lights look good and work fine, I’ll give them that. I just wasn’t expecting them to use as much power as they do, so that was a bit disappointing. They’re nice enough if you don’t mind the extra energy use

"Not Worth the Hassle"
I was disappointed with this. It felt cheap right out of the box, the finish wasn’t great, and it didn’t even last that long. I kept thinking, why is this so complicated for something that should just be decent quality? I wouldn’t buy it again.

"Really Frustrating Delivery Experience"
As someone who likes to stay organized and plan around deliveries, this was frustrating. My order took ages to arrive, and I didn’t get any updates along the way. I don’t mind waiting if I know what’s going on, but being left in the dark made the whole experience disappointing.

I ordered a couple of lights from illumination.co.uk they were nowhere near bright enough. They looked decent on the website, but once I put them in the room, they barely made a difference. I ended up switching on another lamp just so I could see properly. For the price, I was expecting something much better, more like... well, just brighter overall. Frustrating and I don’t think I’d buy from them again.

I had an issue with my light order and it was annoying to get sorted. They did fix it in the end, but the replies were slow, I had to chase them a few times. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, just not a great one either.

I ordered a light from illumination.co.uk, but once it arrived and I tried it in the room, it just didn’t look quite right. Nothing wrong with it really, it just wasn’t the one. I sent it back and did get my refund in the end, but it took longer than I was expecting and I had to follow up once to see what was going on. To be fair, the reply I got was polite, just not especially quick. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it wasn’t amazing either. I’d say 3 stars feels about right...

"Decent lights, but a bit too pricey"
I stopped by to look at some lights while I was out running errands, since I’ve been slowly trying to update a few things around the house. The lights themselves looked fine and there were some nice options, but the prices were higher than a couple of other shops I had checked earlier in the week. I wasn’t in a huge rush to buy anything, so after comparing, it just didn’t really feel worth it for me

I ordered a ceiling light and a couple of bulbs from illumination.co because, from what I could see, the price was a bit better than a few other places I looked at. In my opinion, the quality is decent for what I paid, and the light looks really nice now it’s up. Delivery did take a little longer than I was expecting, and I’d say the packaging was fine rather than impressive, but nothing arrived damaged. Overall, I feel like it was good value for money, and I’d probably use them again if the price was right...

"Returning it was such a hassle"
I ordered a light from illumination.co.uk but when it arrived it just didn’t look right, so I tried to return it. the whole returns process was really frustrating. It was slow, unclear, and I kept having to chase for basic info. At times it felt like nobody had even read my messages, because the replies didn’t really help or answer what I was asking. It took way too long to get sorted and just wasn’t worth the stress. I wouldn’t use them again.

Ordered a light from illumination.co and it was all straightforward. They kept me updated when the order went through and again when it was on the way so I wasn’t left wondering what was happening. I had a quick question too and they got back to me in a normal helpful way. Nice simple experience overall.

"Felt like the staff were just guessing"
I went in with a couple of basic questions about bulbs and fittings, nothing too complicated, and somehow got different answers depending on who I asked. It kind of felt like they were making it up as they went along, which wasn’t exactly reassuring. I don’t know, maybe I caught them on an off day, but it just wasn’t very helpful and I ended up leaving and buying what I needed somewhere else.

Overall it was fine, but one of the specs was a bit unclear to me. I had to pause and reread it a couple times becuase I wasn't totally sure what it meant. Not a huge issue, just could've been explained a little better

"No updates and support made it feel like my fault"
I emailed twice about my order and didn’t hear anything back for days. I tried calling as well, but it just kept ringing out. When I finally got a response, it felt like they were blaming me for not having the right information or for expecting an update too soon. I just wanted to know where my order was, nothing complicated. Really frustrating experience and I wouldn’t use them again.
